The purpose of the Festival is to celebrate the sister city relationships between the cities of Bacolod and Long Beach.  The Masskara Festival has become a well-known regional event in the Philippines liken to the Mardi Gras event in New Orleans with colorful costumes and unusual masks.  We will be featuring songs, dance and performances and a special performance from the City of Bacolod, who will bring 15 Masskara performers.
