We are inviting everybody to watch the movie 1st Sem. The event will have to be attended by its lead actress no less than the critically acclaimed Ms, Lotlot De Leon and the filmmakers Dexter Hemedez and Allan Michael Ibanez who also wrote the screenplay. There will be Meet-and Greet after the show. They will also entertain questions during the Q and A portion.

It is dubbed as a “must-see” for the entire family. Central to its message is the struggle of a single mother fending for children and dealing with an intelligent son who suffered from separation anxiety during his first day in college. Her journey sending back her son to school is what where the movie borders on.

The film has honorably succeeded capturing the attention of foreign film market as it continues to be invited in many festivals around the globe. In the US, the movie was offcially chosen by the organizers to compete in following international film festivals such as San Diego International Kids Film Festival(San Diego, Ca), Columbia George (Big Bear, Ca), Buffalo Niagara International Film Festival (New York), Kids First International Film Festival (New Mexico) and Ellensburg Film Festival in Washington. The movie is set to compete as well in Feodosiya International Film Festival (Feodosia, Russia), Sochi Film Festival (Sochi Russia), White Nights Film Festival (St. Petersburg, Russia), Kiev International Film Festival (Kiev, Ukraine). International Children’s Festival Dytiatko (Kharkiv, Ukraine) and Zinetriki Zinemaldia Children and Youth Film Festival (Bilbao, Spain).

Proudly in the Philippines, it was rated A by the Cinema Evaluation Board. It was also the recepient of 3 Indie Bravo Awards given by the country’s leading newspaper, The Philippine Daily Inquirer, Ani ng Dangal Award by the National Commission Culture and Arts and the Film Ambassador Award by the Film Development Council of the Philippines and many more.
