Los Angeles, 20 December 2011 – A delegation
from the City of Walnut, headed by Councilmember Joaquin Lim, called on
Consul General Mary Jo Bernardo Aragon on 16 December 2011 and presented a
Certificate of Recognition in honor of the Filipinos in World War II for
their dedicated support, contributions and sacrifices. The Certificate was signed by Councilmember
Lim. Above photo was taken during the presentation of
the Certificate at the Office of the Consul General. With Councilmember Joaquin Lim are Mr.
Johnny Chua and other members of the Filipino-American community of the City
of Walnut. |
