ADVISORY ON THE USE OF LAPCG’s NAME

 

 

 

 

 

 

Los Angeles, 5 December 2011 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles wishes to appeal to the public to refrain from using its name, without its consent, in such a manner as to reasonably convey the impression that the Philippine Consulate General is endorsing, promoting or sponsoring a particular event, organization or business activity.

 

In this regard, the public is requested to secure the written consent of the Consul General prior to the printing or distribution of promotion materials, posters or flyers which bear the name and seal of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles.

 

The public is likewise reminded that notaries public registered with the Consulate General are not authorized by the Consulate to act as its agents or facilitators.

 

If is advisable for those who would need consular services to transact business directly with the officers and consular staff of the Consulate General within the premises of its Rizal/Community Hall.
